I’ve spent days looking at this page, trying to figure out what to write here, what to say about myself, how to convince who ever you are that I’m… well, Rad? And maybe you will give me money to do for you what I love, make art, make games, make worlds. I mean, that’s what this site is right? My portfolio, a place for me to say “let me work”. A hard task in text for someone with dyslexia and no, before you ask, spellcheck doesn’t fix it, despite everything else that comes with the learning disability, having spell check usually just means the wrong word spelt right.( I just want you to also know how hard it was not to put a bad spelling joke in there).
So what to do? I’ve always felt I’ve had trouble explaining myself personally to others and I’m sure as ever changing people, we have all had trouble even figuring out who we are in the first place. I suppose that’s why I tend to draw myself alot, such as in my comic My Vampire Co-Worker where I’m a downtrodden fast food manager on an Alien planet, It’s my way of trying to figure it out. Thinking about it now, I suppose these silly drawings I do are probably the best way to let you know who I am and where I come from (really it’s Cairns but Ill swear to you its Racoon City).
